This code is a simple substitution code in disguise. Each colored square is worth a certain value. Add up the values within each 2 x 2 block (colors are always shown highest to lowest value) and then convert the total to the corresponding letter (A=1, Z=26). To help crack the code, always try to include the letters O and Y so they can see how much each color is worth.
